PURPOSE: To provide a fastener with secure engagement and easily manufactured by making a fixed length of tab-shaped edge to engage with the other edge of main part of a fixed length by friction. CONSTITUTION: A slit 12 and a tab-shaped part 14 on a strip 10 are easily formed by passing a strip of sheet material through the nip of a pair of die wheels 13s. A main part 15 of the piece 11 and the tab-shaped part 14 possess edges 18 and 20 which face each other near the both ends of a slit 12 which are placed with an included angle 22 of about 60 to 90 degrees to an adjacent bent line 16. And if each tab-shaped part 14 of two piece 11s is inserted sufficiently at the same time through the opening of the another piece 11 with tab- shaped part 14 on both sides in the state to stick out approximately in the opposite detection, edges 18 and 20 of the tab-shaped part 14 of a piece 11 engage with edge 18 and 20 of main part 15 of the other piece 11 by friction, and hold body pieces 11s by friction in a detachably engaged state. |
