DEVICE FOR SWITCHING CAP TO BE CARRIED FROM INTERMITTENT MOVEMENT TO CONTINUOUS MOVEMENT

PURPOSE:To fit a cap to a container being the course of a continuous movement by moving the cap by an intermittent moving feeder and fitting the cap to the container by a suction head which moves continuously in the direction orthogonal to the advance direction of said feeder. CONSTITUTION:From a band stock to be worked A, a cap is brought to forming and blanking by a press 1. Subsequently, the cap is moved by an intermittent moving feeder 3 provided with a retainer 2. A capping device 5 is provided with an endless chain which is orthogonal to the advance direction of the feeder 3 and moves continuously, and many suction heads 4 are installed in this chain and moved. Next, the cap is fitted to a container C which is moving continuously from the feeder 3 by the suction head 4. In such a way, the cap can be fitted to the container which is moving continuously.
