PURPOSE:To obtain the subject yarn free from generation of Moire pattern by winding a sheath yarn around a core yarn while performing false-twisting of the filament yarn of the core yarn and controlling the over-feed of ratio of the sheath yarn to be wound round the core yarn. CONSTITUTION:A sheath yarn Y2 is supplied to a core yarn Y1 from a sheath yarn feeding roller 9 under varying the over-feed ratio while keeping the ratio for a definite period. The filament yarn of the core yarn Y1 is subjected to false-twisting process between a core yarn feeding roller 1 and a delivery roller 13 during the feeding stage of the sheath yarn. The sheath yarn Y2 is wound round the core yarn Y1 in such a manner as to alternately form a single wound part having a length of >=100mm and a triple wound part having a length of 5-200mm and obtain the objective high-quality slub yarn having randomly distributed single wound parts having different lengths. |
