PURPOSE:To arbitrarily select a printing shape corresponding to how to observe printing content, in a printer equipped with memory issuing function for entirely printing the printing content stored in the memory of a higher rank apparatus, by mounting a memory means for storing two or more kinds of printing forms and an indication means for indicating the size of a character to be printed in performing the printing due to the aforementioned function. CONSTITUTION:In the printing processing of a hexa-damp mode, at first, it is judged what is a character size. Herein, since two kinds of character sizes are prepared and, on the basis of the signal from a character size indication key 12, it is judged which is a 10-pitch or a 15.66-pitch. When the 10-pitch is indicated, a printing form I is read from an ROM 14 and printing preparation at the character interval and line interval of this form. When the 16.66-pitch is indicated, the printing form II from the ROM 14 is selected and read, and printing preparation at the character interval and line interval of this form is performed. At this time, the size data of paper to be printed is given by the paper selection key in an operation panel. |
