PURPOSE:To obtain stably an oxide superconducting material having high current density and high critical temp. by heat-treating specified starting materials for the superconducting material at a specified temp. and under a specified pressure. CONSTITUTION:An aimed superconducting material is obtd. by heat-treating starting materials for the superconducting material consisting of at least one kind of powder of oxide, nitrate, and carbonate which have been mixed so as to form an oxide superconducting material by heating, or a starting material consisting of powder of oxides having already superconductivity, at 800-1000 deg.C in an atmosphere having 0.25-0.9atm O2 partial pressure. By the heat-treatment under the above described conditions, a temp. for generating a liquid phase shifts to a higher temp. side and a temp. area for generating a high temp. phase (high Tc phase) is expanded in accompany therewith, so a superconductor having a high Tc phase comprising a single phase is obtd. stably and easily. |
