<p>PURPOSE: To eliminate a loss due to coupling between conductors without any physical revamping of the cable itself by transmitting data propagated in opposite directions with at least a couple of conductors. CONSTITUTION: Two pairs of conductors are selected to transmit same data signals simultaneously, the 1st pair is made up of conductors 1 and 2 and the 2nd pair is made up of conductors 4, 5 and the conductors in each pair receive transmission signals of opposite polarity to each other. Since the conductors 1, 5 and the conductors 6, 3 are symmetrical to each other, the energy coupled from the conductor 1 to the conductor 3 or 6 is accurately neutralized by the energy of the conductor 5 coupled with the conductors, and the same is applied to the case with the conductors 2, 4 and the conductor 7. Thus, the energy of a net coupled among the conductors 3, 6, 7 not selected is zero. Thus, signals are propagated through a cable 10 only causing minimum interference.</p> |
