PURPOSE:To obtain a spun-like conjugate nap having a large number of entanglements and naps existing on the circumference of the conjugate yarn, high bulkiness, warm feeling, high strength and stable quality by interlocking undrawn polyester yarn having a specific breakage strength with drawn yarn of the above polyester yarn. CONSTITUTION:An undrawn polyester yarn 1 having a breaking strength of 1-3g/d is overfed between a feed roller 3 and a 1st delivery roller 5, heat-treated with a heater 4 in relaxed state and interlocked with a drawn polyester yarn 2 having a breaking strength of >=4g/d and supplied by the 1st delivery roller 5 using a fluid nozzle 6 simultaneous to the nap-raising treatment. The interlocked yarn is transferred through a 2nd delivery roller 7 and wound in the form of a package 9 by a winder roller 8 to obtain the objective conjugate nap yarn having >=40 interlocked parts per 1 meter and >=100 naps having a length of >=1mm on the circumference of the conjugate yarn per 1 meter of the yarn. |
