PURPOSE:To strengthen the suction force of a valve and increase the generating damping force of a damper by providing a magnetic material forming a sub- magnetic path on the outside of a hollow piston rod which forms the magnetic path of a solenoid. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 24 of a magnetic material forming a sub-magnetic path is interposedly held on the outside of a piston rod 11. A solenoid 15 attracts a valve body 17 to a valve seat 18, with a valve case 21, the valve seat 18, valve body 17, piston rod 11 and a washer 22 which are formed with a magnetic material as a magnetic path. In this case, the narrowed sectional area of the magnetic path of the piston rod 11 is compensated by forming a port 19. Thus, the valve body 17 is strongly attracted toward the valve seat 18 increasing the generating damping force of a damper. |
