PURPOSE:To carry out sufficient agitation of molten metal in a crucible and to prepare uniform samples of high accuracy by separating a crucible chamber provided with a hermetic crucible from a heat generating part fixed with a partition wall and enabling the crucible to move with various kinds of swing motion. CONSTITUTION:The hermetic crucible 14 receiving a sample and a melting agent is provided in the crucible chamber 11 enclosed by an upper and lower supporting members 13, 12 consisting of vertically movable fire-resistant material, and electric current is energized through the heat generating body 23 of a heat generating part 22 having a fire-resistant furnace body 24 and partition wall 25 to heat the inside of the chamber 11 to melt the contents of the crucible 14, and a molten metal is made. Then, by the normal and the reverse revolution of a motor 32, a turning-over frame 28 and a furnace body part 31 are rotated respectively through a rack 30 and a pinion 34 and through an eccentric rotary disk 29 and a crank shaft 30. The furnace body part 31 is vertically freely supported at the rotary disk 29 through the shaft 30, and the furnace body part 31 is vertically moved by the rotary disk 29 so that the molten metal is sufficiently agitated and mixed. Then the chamber 11 is moved to the outside of the furnace by an upper and a lower elevator 38, 36 to carry out agitation, and the heat generating part 22 is connected to the chamber 11, and, if necessary, these operations are repeated, and then the crucible 14 is taken out of the device to be cooled. |
