PURPOSE:To improve traveling feeling and prevent the damage to a wheel side tube by providing a spacer guide having an automatic centering mechanism on at least one of the portions between a spacer and a suspension spring and between the spacer and a cap. CONSTITUTION:An inner tube 2 is slidably inserted into an outer tube 1. A damper cylinder is erected from the center on the lower portion of the inner tube 2. The lower portion of a suspension spring 6 is brought into contact with a seat provided on the outer periphery of the damper cylinder or the bottom face of the inner tube 2. The automatic centering of a spacer 19 is carried out by the centering function of spacer guides 17, 18. Thereby, the spacer guides are prevented from being rubbed, improving traveling feeling while preventing the damage to a wheel side tube. |
