APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SPREADING PLATE MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To continuously reduce thickness of a plate material and to spread the plate material toward plate width direction by constituting a forming tool with a cylindrical roll rotatably driving and a pressing roll reciprocatively moving to rotating axial direction of the cylindrical roll under posture crossing to the cylindrical roll. CONSTITUTION:The spreading apparatus for the plate material composes the forming tool with the cylindrical roll 1 rotatably driving and the pressing roll 3 reciprocatively moving to the rotating axial 2 direction of the cylindrical roll 1 under the posture crossing to the cylindrical roil 1. The plate material 4 is forward driven with the cylindrical roll 1 and spread by shifting the pressing roll 3 from almost center part to edge parts of the plate material 4 while pressing toward the cylindrical roll 1.
