PURPOSE:To obtain sharply recorded data obtained through the transfer of only the second ink layer to recording paper without contamination of a color from the first ink layer by adding one or two kinds of water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol to the first ink layer. CONSTITUTION:The preferable content of water-soluble resin in the first ink layer is 0.5 to 20%. The water-soluble resins contained in the first ink layer are polyvinyl alcohol resin, polyvinyl pyrolidone resin, polyester resin and cellulose resin. These resins can easily be formed into high-quality film and therefore, especially polyvinyl alcohol with a degree of polymerization of 1,500 or more and a molecular weight of 70,000 or more is highly suitable for the manufacture of the film. If these water-soluble resins are contained in the first ink layer 3, the capability of the first ink layer of becoming high-quality film increases and consequently, the border line between the first ink layer and the second ink layer 4 or the second adhesive layer 6 becomes clearly defined. ln addition, the second ink layer is not contaminated by the color of the first ink layer. The data recorded in the second ink layer 4 by separate transfer when F1 is larger than F2 is not affected by color contamination from the first ink layer 3. Thus the recorded data image is very sharp. |
