PURPOSE:To effectively enable introduction of DNA into a plant cell in simple operation by attaching the plant cell on a filter capable of absorbing DNA and then feeding a DNA solution to the filter. CONSTITUTION:A plant cell (preferably protoplast obtained by dissolving and removing a cell wall) is attached (preferably protoplast suspension is uniformly applied) on a filter capable of absorbing DNA and then a DNA solution is fed to the filter to bring DNA into contact with the plant cell. Thereby DNA is introduced into the plant cell. |
