PURPOSE:To facilitate the loading and unloading operation of a film cassette to a camera and to make the title cassette smaller in size by providing an energizing means for energizing a spool toward a housed position between the spool and a case. CONSTITUTION:An engaging pawl part 25 which can engage with a winding shaft on a camera side is provided on one end of the revolving shaft 21 of the spool 20 which constitutes a film winding part 4. The spool 20 is supported so as to be freely moved in a thrust direction between a protruding position where the revolving shaft 21 is made to protrude toward the outside and the housed position where it is housed inside in the case 11 which forms the film winding part 4. The energizing means 31 for energizing the spool 20 toward the housed position is provided between the spool 20 and the case 11. Therefore, the film cassette can be easily loaded and unloaded without moving a film winding shaft up and down at the time of loading and unloading the film cassette in the camera. Thus, the film cassette can be made compact and handling can be facilitated. |
