Device for fixing decorative panels at a distance from a wall. The rear surface (1b) of the panels comprises pairs of parallel recesses of trapezoidal cross-section, in which are slideably fitted the ends, of complementary shape, of the wings of elastic support profiles, the central part of which comprises a bend and also a hole situated on the latter. The tightening of nuts (7) screwed onto a threaded plug (106) fixed in a wall causes the elastic deformation of the profile and the immobilisation of the panel.
