PURPOSE: To prevent jamming of balls to improve torque capability by allowing a first part set to the center face of a casing to form a spherical surface, and allowing a second part set to the tip side of a cage to form tracks of rotation. CONSTITUTION: An outer joint part 1 and an inner joint member 2 have facing parallel planes 3, 4 respectively. Between these planes, torque transmitting balls 5 are held in a joint-center plane I by a cage 6, and are guided in a bisect plane when the joint is bent. A first spherical surface 7 which is in contact with an inner cylindrical hole part 8 of the outer joint part 1, and a second spherical surface 9 which is fitted in an outer spherical surface 10 in the inner joint member 2, operate with the above mentioned operation. The latter spherical surface can axially glide on a cylindrical journal projection 12 in the inner joint member 2 through an intermediate element 11. In this case, the intermediate element is axially supported on a projected face 15 or a spring 16 by means of spiral springs 13, 14. Thus, the total torque-capabilities of all spheres can be utilized all together without causing jamming of the balls.
