<p>PURPOSE:To make boot fixing operation automatically with good efficiency by setting a drive shaft located by a locating device on a transport jig with the aid of a loader device, wherein the drive shaft shall be held in the condition as it is. CONSTITUTION:At the time of locating operation, the shanks of joints B1, B2 are grasped by No.1 clampers 17h1, 17l1 of each unit, and these No.1 clampers are moved outward in the axial direction. This causes the outer end face of each joint in its axial direction to come in contact with a stopper of each unit, and the joints are located in specified positions. Then boots C1, C2 are grasped by No.2 clampers 17h2, 17l2 of each unit, and these No.2 clampers are moved outward in the axial direction with respect to the No.1 clampers. Thereby each boot is pushed and moved toward the joints, and the level difference part on the major dia. end side of the bore of each boot comes in contact with the open end of each joint, and the boot is located in specified position by reference to the joint previously located, followed by setting on the transport jig.</p> |
