<p>PURPOSE:To have precise locating without causing deformation of a panel by attracting and holding the panel to an attracting member with a proper suction air pressure, and by allowing the panel not to be in close contact with the supporting member. CONSTITUTION:The suction air pressure supplied to an attracting member (vacuum pad) 7 is set to a level which is necessary for correcting the spring back of a panel 4 and does not generate deformation of the panel 4. This ensures that the panel 4 is surely attracted by this attracting member 7 without causing deformation of the panel 4. The attracting member 7 is, in this condition, controlled so as to be at a certain level, and the panel 4 is put in close contact with a supporting member 3 to accomplish precise locating.</p> |
