PURPOSE:To obtain a herbicidal composition having wide herbicidal spectrum, capable of sufficiently prolonging effects by one application by combining a pyridinesulfonamide compound or a salt thereof with a specific compound such as atrazine, bentazon or alachlor. CONSTITUTION:A herbicidal composition containing at least one of a pyridinesulfonamide compound shown by the formula [X is H, halogen or (halogenated) methyl; R is H or methyl] and at least one compound selected from 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, an alkyl ester and a salt thereof, 3,6- dichloro-2-methoxybenzoic acid (dicamba), 2-chloro-4-ethylamino-6- isopropylamino-1,3,5-triazine (atrazine), bentazon, alachlor) metolachlor, propachlor, pendimethalin, etc., as active ingredients. |
