PURPOSE: To enhance the positioning accuracy of the centering members of plate-shaped carriers by making a guide to be turnable around a rotating axis parallel to a first transport direction, to be extended in the first transport direction, and to be displaceable together with the carrier around the rotating axis in the direction perpendicular to the surface passing through first and second transport directions. CONSTITUTION: When a guide 77 is turned around a rotation shaft 71, all the printed circuit boards in the guide are turned around the rotation shaft 71, so that the printed circuit boards are decoupled from centering pins 49, 51. The turning angle is properly selected, and then the printed circuit board is made to be again centered by locking pins 91, and these locking pins are provided at the positions fixed with regard to a Y-axis carriage. The X-axis carriage 9 thus separated, a lath 53 and a pin holder 55 are displaced over a pitch distance in the negative X-axis direction. During this displacement, the locking pin 91 prevents the printed circuit board from being displaced due to vibration in parallel with the X-axis direction inside the guide 77. |
