The supporting cup has a cone-shaped peripheral surface (1) formed by a frame of stiffening members. It unfolds from a flat-folded position. A supporting strip can be fixed to the frame, so as to hold it in the flat-folded position. The stiffening members can be circular, wound into a spiral, or alternatively of concentric rings, joined together by cladding material.
