Creation of a "glass pane and curtain" assembly, the whole article forming just one item. The invention consists in inserting, between two glass panes, a curtain of translucent fabric or lace away from the impurities of the ambient air; the whole article forming a practical, hygienic, attractive and insulating assembly. Two glass panes 1 and 3, a curtain 2, the assembly sterilised; a heating press with thermostat enclosing the assembly. The latter is held closed so that moisture in the air cannot penetrate, until the adhesive seal is hermetically fastened onto the edge of the assembly. The assembly may be installed on windows with a rabbet or be mounted industrially. Such an assembly may be used for: kitchen windows, public places (administration), hotels, and separation elements in open-plan offices. <IMAGE>
