Syringe for medical injections with cap for protection from the needle thereof, in which the cap 4 and the auto- extensible upper portion thereof are provided as a monobloc member, with a cylindrical part 6 making up the cap proper, some tie rods 7 with two articulated sections 8-9, which are extensible thanks to the elastic nature of the material thereof, and some notches 11, 12, 13, the sections of which on folding act as lugs to hold and push the syringe, in such a way that in its extended position the cap, which has a cover 16 lower down, completely covers the needle 5. <IMAGE>
