PURPOSE:To perform an autofocusing action in an appropriate focusing state in accordance with the state of an object and a photographer's intention by providing a preferential switching means for switching to any focusing state preferentially to the actuation of a focusing state switching means. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer muC constitutes a starting detection means, a magnification discrimination means for judging photographing magnification and the focusing state switching means for switching the focusing state for a moving body where the movement of a photographic lens by a focusing means is allowed during the retreating action of a mirror from the image-formation optical path by a mirror advancing and retreating control means and the focusing state for a still body where the movement of the lens is inhibited during the retreating action. The microcomputer muC and an IC card for forcibly obtaining one-shot AF constitutes the preferential switching means for switching to any focusing state out of the focusing state for the still body and the focusing state for the moving body preferentially to the actuation of the focusing state switching means. Thus, there is no possibility of the forgetfulness of an operation, misoperation or malfunction and a desirable photograph in which focusing is sharp can be surely obtained. |
