摘要 PURPOSE:To easily and surely decide the alignment of an eye to be examined and the title instrument by detecting the alignment of the eye and the instrument by the fact that the positions of the scatters of a laser beam and an alignment light are coincident with prescribed positions in the visual field of an observation optical system, respectively. CONSTITUTION:An optical system 2' provided on the lower part of a light-receiving part 2 is composed of a light source 22 for an alignment, an index 23 for an alignment and a lens 24. An alignment index projection system 2' is coupled with the optical system 2 of the light receiving part 2 by a beam splitter 16, and the image of the index 23 for the alignment is image-formed at a converging point P of an eye E to be examined. A laser beam L emitted by a laser beam inputting part 1 and an alignment light A have a positional relation approximately at 90 deg. in a horizontal plane surface, and consequently, the lights are made incident on a cornea from the direction at 45 deg. at the right/left of the eye E to be examined. At such a time, the scatter is generated by the cornea as indicated by codes (a) and (b). When the positions of the scattered lights (a) and (b) are matched to the prescribed positions in a visual field R of an observing part 4, the fact that the alignment of the eye E to be examined and the instrument is achieved is decided. A joy stick 42 is operated in executing the observation through the observing part 4, a frame 41 is moved, and the positions of the eye to be examined and the device are correctly aligned.
