PURPOSE:To perform photographing with almost no possibility of losing a shutter chance while completely keeping focusing accuracy by providing a focusing control means for actuating a focusing means until a shutter is started to be actuated by using deviation detected by a focus detection means. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer muC decides whether or not a photographic lens exists in a 1st focusing zone where it is though that focusing is completely attained or whether or not it exists in a 2nd focusing zone wider than the 1st focusing zone by using the deviation detected by the focus detection means AO, AFS and muC. In the case of deciding that the photographic lens does not exist in any focusing zone, the starting of a releasing action is inhibited and also the focusing means muC, LECON and M are actuated. At the time of deciding that the photographic lens enters the 2nd focusing zone, a releasing action is started and the focusing means muC, the LECON and the M are actuated until the shutter is started to be actuated by using the deviation detected at such a time. Thus, the shutter chance is hardly lost and a desirable photograph where sharp focusing is attained can be obtained. |
