PURPOSE:To accomplish photographing with high focusing accuracy by providing a conversion control means for actuating a conversion means by using a correction conversion factor obtained by correcting the error of a set conversion factor after starting a release action. CONSTITUTION:The title camera is provided with the conversion control means muC for actuating the conversion means for obtaining driving quantity for focusing by using the set conversion factor and deviation detected by a focus detection means consisting of an optical system for detecting focus AO, a focus detection circuit AFS and a microcomputer muC by using the correction conversion factor obtained by correcting the error of the set conversion factor after starting the release action. Therefore, focusing can be performed with the little shortage of focusing quantity though the detected deviation just before mirror up is used. Besides to that, since a focusing action is performed just before exposure, photographing excellent in follow-up to a moving object and with a good shutter chance can be performed. Thus, a photograph with high focusing accuracy can be taken in an intended timing. |
