Single-line telephone call diverter for automatically diverting a call from a user of a calling line of a party B to a called line of a party A, towards another line of a party C to which the call from B is to be transferred and whose number has been predetermined by A, characterised in that it comprises a call-managing logic unit, which can bring about, after detecting a call signal from the calling party B, the momentary placing on-hold of party B, the automatic dialling of the number of party C and then the connecting of B and C via the automatic switchboard managing the line of A, by setting up between A, B and C the three-way conversation procedure, and, at the end of the communication, the resetting of the lines to the initial state, these successive actions staggered over time preferably being combined with the sending of pre-recorded messages indicating to the calling party B and to the party C to which the calls have been diverted, the condition of the line and the nature of the call thus transferred. <IMAGE>
