PURPOSE:To prevent the illegal read-out of a memory card storing the personal credit information by ciphering and storing the memory card and furthermore to reduce the danger for the illegal read-out of data by keeping a card type memory medium and a transaction processor separately from each other. CONSTITUTION:The customer information and the sales data are transmitted via a communication control means 4 when the sales amount exceeds a prescribed level and then stored in a memory medium 10 when the sales amount is less than the prescribed level respectively. Then the stored data are transmitted en bloc via the means 4 when the stored items exceed a prescribed number. A 1st ciphering means 8a ciphering the customer information and the sales data when they are stored in the medium 10, a 2nd ciphering means 8b ciphering the data inputted to the means 4 are provided. Thus it is possible to prevent the read-out of the stored contents of the medium 10 even though the loadable/ unloadable card type medium 10 is illegally taken out of a transaction processor main body. |
