PURPOSE:To realize the optional selection of the symbol strings which decide the states of the circuit component elements and to facilitate the change, addition and deletion of symbol strings by deciding a state deciding rule based on the connecting relation between the contents described based on the constitution rule of the symbol strings and the component elements. CONSTITUTION:A description means 7 describes the deciding rule read out of a state, deciding rule memory 14 based on the constitution rule of symbol strings stored in a constitution rule memory 11. Then a state deciding means 4 decides the states of all elements forming a circuit and completes the symbol simulation based on the state deciding rule described by the means 7 and the connecting relation among the elements stored in a connecting relation memory 3. Thus it is possible to store the constitution rule of an optional symbol string into a constitution rule memory 12. Then the using symbol strings can be easily changed, added or deleted without improving a symbol simulation device. |
