<p>PURPOSE:To display a screen which is larger than the lateral size of a logical screen supported by a system on a physical screen by dividing a virtual screen with duplication to the size of the logical screen of the system and storing the display data on the part received a display instruction into the logical screen to display the data on the physical screen. CONSTITUTION:A virtual screen 1 of an application program is magnified laterally. A logical screen 2 is included in a system which stores either one of plural display data obtained by dividing the screen 1 into the prescribed number of pieces with duplication secured in the lateral direction. Then a physical screen 3 displays the display data set in an optional lateral range of the screen 2 on a display device. Then the corresponding display data is stored in the screen 2 after deciding whether the lateral value of a display instruction is equivalent to either one of divided pieces of the screen 1 or not. Then a part of the screen 2 that received a display instruction is displayed on the screen 3. Thus it is possible to display a screen larger than the lateral size of the screen 2 supported by the system.</p> |
