PURPOSE:To make dumping of earth and sand achievable in a mass safely through a specially designed opening, by setting a tiltable earth and sand loading bottom plate to both sides of the upper side of the opening, in case of a vessel having such an opening arrangement available for earth and sand dumping along the center line of the hull. CONSTITUTION:An opening part 10 for earth and sand dumping use is set up along the center line of a hull 1 while each of earth and sand loading bottom plates 4 is installed at both broadsides of the hull 1. And, when earth and sand on the bottom plates 4 is dumped in a mass, a first shaft 5 and a second shaft 6 are installed at the edge part of the opening part 10 and another edge part of the broadsides respectively in order to make the bottom plates 4 selectively tilt and move to the side of the opening 10 or the outside of the broadside. Accordingly, when dumping earth and sand, a hydraulic cylinder 12 is operated, pushing the bottom plates 4 upward from downside by means of a push rod 13, and the bottom plates 4 are tilted in centering an either shaft 5 or shaft 6 whereby earth and sand can be selectively dumped to the side of the opening 10 or the outside of the broadside. |
