The stairway handrail consists of straight handrail sections (22.2,22.3), the end faces (40.2,40.3) of which are cut off vertically. Between them, corner pieces (25) are provided. The latter have, in their connection side faces, indentations (30.1,30.2) with a width corresponding to the thickness of the handrail sections. The indentations do not reach as far as the top cover face (31). The side walls (45) of the indentations (30) cover the ends of the handrail sections and thus conceal inaccuracies and imperfections produced when cutting off the end faces (40). …<IMAGE>… |
