PURPOSE:To stop a printing medium at a desired stopping position by a method in which error values preset in a switching means and a given feeding amount stored in a feeding amount register are calculated and a given pulse number is supplied to a drive circuit. CONSTITUTION:In an arithmetic unit 12, pulse number is once stored in a pulse number generator 11, by which the stored pulse number is deducted while pulse from a phase shifter 10 is distributed and then supplied to a pulse motor drive circuit 9. In this way, the feeding of the printing medium is finished and whether or not the printing medium 1 is sent out and stopped at a right stopping place is confirmed by an operator. In case where excessive feeding is made, a deduction constant is set by a compensatory switch 13, whereas in case the feeding is short, an addition constant is set so as to make it coincide with a proper value. |
