PURPOSE:To obtain a good blood flow image even in a case using a mechanical scanning method by performing the calculation processing of blood, flow image data using a plurality of read phase detection data required for forming one raster of a blood flow image. CONSTITUTION:At each time when new phase detection data is formed by the advance of ultrasonic scanning, said data is written in a buffer memory group 51 under the control of a writing control means 50 and a plurality of data containing the newest data and becoming necessary for forming one raster of a blood flow image are read from the memory group 51 under the control of a reading control means 52. The read data are taken in a blood flow operation means 59 and blood flow image data is calculated by said means 59. Therefore, even when ultrasonic scanning is executed mechanically, the blood flow image become sufficient and a good blood flow image is obtained. |
