PURPOSE:To obtain an organic film stable to heat and sublimation, highly sensitive to long wavelength region light, and usable for an electrophotographic sensitive film and an optical recording disc, etc., by incorporating a specified compd. CONSTITUTION:An organic film capable of effectively absorbing beams of a laser, especially semiconductor laser emitting light of >=750nm long wavelength side, and converting them to another energy is obtained by incorporating a compd. having formula I in which R1, R3 are each optionally substd. aryl; R2 is optionally substd. arylene; and A<-> is an anion residue, such as formula II or III. This org. film can be applied to the electrophotographic sensitive film of an electrophotographic type printer using the semiconductor laser as a light source, or an optical disc film capable of writing and reproducing using a semiconductor laser, or an IR cut filter, or the like. |
