PURPOSE:To store nXm number of commands and to realize the title multifunctional remote commander by scarcely increasing the number of keys by making (n)-number of command keys into programmable keys (storable keys) and further providing (m)-number of function keys. CONSTITUTION:Keys 2 indicated in an area surrounded with an alternate long and short dash line are the command keys to which certain remote control codes are previously preset, and the keys 2 also function as the programmable keys which can either store a remote control code for executing desired remote control or store a key operational sequence. Respective modes A-E can be selected by the control of a CPU by operating function keys 3A-3E provided separately from the command keys 2, and all the command keys 2 can be utilized as keys having other functions in the respective modes A-E. Namely, the paging operation (A mode-E mode) of the command keys 2 can be executed by the function keys 3A-3E. |
