PURPOSE:To avoid the waste of an internal battery at production by adding a switch which is closed when an electronic equipment starts its normal action to the power supply line of the internal battery. CONSTITUTION:At the production of an electronic equipment 1, a microcomputer 2 is not actuated yet and no control signal is outputted from an output terminal 8 to close a switch 7. Thus the switch 7 is kept open. Then a control signal is outputted from the terminal 8 when the equipment 1 has its normal action, and the switch 7 is closed. Therefore a power supply 3 is electrically connected to the microcomputer 2 for the supply of the electric power. When the equipment 1 is removed and a memory back-up terminal 6 is disconnected, a back-up detection terminal 5 detects this fact. Thus the microcomputer 2 is set in a back-up mode. In this case, the switch 7 is also kept closed via the terminal 8. Thus it is possible to contribute to the saving of electric power of an internal battery in a production process. |
