PURPOSE:To obtain a plane antenna having an excellent radiation characteristic with low loss over a wide band by providing a radiation element to a face of opposite side in two dielectric plates provided in contact with both sides of a ground conductor and providing a feeder line to a face of opposite side of the other side and connecting the both by a connection lead. CONSTITUTION:Two dielectric plates 1a, 1b are provided in contact with both sides of the ground conductor 5, the radiation element 2 is provided to a face opposite to the one dielectric plate 1a and the feeder line 3 is provided to the opposite side of the other dielectric plate 1b and the radiation element 2 and the feeder 3 are connected by a connection lead 7. That is, since the radiation element 2 and the feeder 3 are provided to the opposite side with respect to the ground conductor 5 respectively, an undesired radio wave radiated from a 2-distributer 6 and the corner of the feeder 3 and a required radio wave radiated from the radiation element 2 are separated. Thus, the radiation characteristic of the radio wave radiated from the radiation element 2 is not deteriorated and the plane antenna having a low loss and excellent radiation characteristic over a wide band is obtained. |
