PURPOSE:To obtain a high quality image without surface staining by providing a suction machine and sucking air before a transfer sheet is carried and brought into contact with an electrophotographic photosensitive body, and removing the paper dust on the surface of the sheet so that a developer may not firmly fix on it. CONSTITUTION:The transfer sheet 2 is carried in the direction shown by an arrow toward the electrophotographic photosensitive body 4 from a carrying roller 1. The transfer sheet 2 is sucked with air by the suction machine 3 before the transfer sheet comes into contact with the photosensitive body 4 and the paper dust on the surface is removed. Then, a suction part 3a in the suction machine 3 is opened narrow and long in the width direction of the transfer sheet 2 and the suction machine 3 uniformly and efficiently sucks the surface of the transfer sheet 2, and the paper dust is removed. Then, the transfer sheet 2 comes into contact with the photosensitive body 4 in the state that the paper dust is removed. As a result, since a toner and the developer can be difficult to firmly fix to the photosensitive body 4, the high quality image without surface staining can be obtained. |
