PURPOSE:To obtain a toner permitting fixing at low temp. without impairing durability by using a resin as binder wherein a specified amt, of a diolefinic high molecular polymer is contained as subresin. CONSTITUTION:A resin contg. 3-80wt.% diolefinic high molecular polymer is used as binder of a toner. Double bond moieties of the diolefinic hydrocarbon in the toner are transformed to a low molecular compd. by bonding to oxygen. The reaction of the double bond moieties with oxygen is caused more easily at glass transition point or higher. When the toner is transformed to a low molecular compd., the softening point is depressed, so the temp. required for fixing is lowered. Furthermore, the durability of the toner is secured since the above described reaction occurs hardly before a stage of transfer. Thus, fixing at low temp. an be executed without impairing the durability of the toner. |
