<p>A process and a regeneration device are described for the thermal treatment, for example drying, low-temperature carbonisation or gasification, of pasty or sludge-like substances in a heated reactor, such as a fluidised bed, the outflowing medium of which has condensible vapours which are condensed, as a result of which the medium is reusable. For this purpose, a recuperation heat exchanger (4) is provided which is connected as a heat remover or reheater so that the condensers (2) are impinged with saturated medium and dry medium flows through the circulation fans (3). For further improvement, in addition, a cooler (13) is provided for the thermally treated substance, which cooler is impinged by a part-stream of the circulated medium. <IMAGE></p> |
