<p>The bar code reader detects the input character with counters (41,42) measuring a distance between a bar and a space, and counters (43,44) providing the character comparing signals. If two signals conform to each other, the interrupt signal generated by a character comparing part (7) is provided to a microprocessor (17). The interrupt signal is used for various control, reset, and synchronisation so that the hardware is simplified.</p> |
