<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the leakage of secret from a recording medium where abnormality in conveyance or abnormality in forming an image occurs by automatically shredding the recording medium where the abnormality in forming the image occurs. CONSTITUTION:The recording medium where the abnormality occurs is detected by a means 3 for detecting the abnormality in forming the image on the recording medium such as the abnormality in conveyance and ejected to an ejection destination provided with a shredder mechanism 9 to be automatically shredded and discarded. Since the recording medium where the abnormality in forming the image occurs is selected by a branching mechanism 7 and automatically shredded, the printed data on the recording medium where the abnormality occurs can be prevented from being carelessly leaked to the outside.
