PURPOSE: To obtain an amphiphatic cream which contains water, lipids, specific 0/W type and W/O type emulsifiers and increases dispersibility of the oil phase and the water phase and improves resistance to chemicals and poisonous substances, consistency, coating properties, permeability and stability. CONSTITUTION: Based on the whole weight, this cream contains 25-55wt.% of water, 20-50wt.% of an oil phase or lipid or lipid-like substance as an oil- phase forming component such as isopropyl myristate, 1-20wt.% of conjugated emulsifier comprising W/O type emulsifier of one kind of higher fatty alcohol such as glycerol and/or sorbitol except glycerol monostearate or a mixture of plural higher fatty alcohol and of the 0/W type emulsifier which is a polyoxyethylene glycerol monoester containing 18-20 oxyethylene units, having up to 15 HLB value. Fluid paraffin, vaseline and the like can be used as a lipid.
