PURPOSE:To bundle a bag not to permit a product to be loose in the bag by a method wherein a folded portion of a bag is lowered by lowering four holding claws by a specified amount to be moved horizontally between the two upper holding claws and the two lower holding claws and a bundling jig is attached to the folded portion of the bag. CONSTITUTION:While holding devices 10a, 10b of the upper part of a bag hold the upper center of the bag, holding claws 13a to 13d close to have the upper part of the bag folded. Then, an elevating table 12 starts to lower, and when the holding devices 10a, 10b of the upper part of the bag lower the folded portion of the bag to the vicinity of products filled in the bag, the holding devices 10a, 10b of the upper part of the bag open to release holding of the bag. Then a slide table 14 proceeds to have a slit 14a passed through the folded portion of the bag, and a piece of adhesive tape T is wound around the folded portion of the bag by an adhesive tape winding mechanism 15 at this time. The elevating table 12 drops and stops, and the holding claws 13a to 13d open again to have a bag F3 bundled with the adhesive tape T dropped by gravity function. Then the bag F3 passes through a bag through hole 14d downward and drops on a conveyer 9.
