The plastic brassiere-cup support is U-shaped and has end, intermediate and base sections of differing transuerse shapes, the area of the base section beint larger than that of the intermediate section, which is larger than the end section. The support is made of a plastic material selected from nylon, acetal resin and polyester. Improved flexibility in the ends of the support provides wearer comfort.
