PURPOSE:To make easy and safe fixing work possible by providing continuously and perpendicularly vertical guide members to a facing-material-forming member, and by making the facing-material-forming member ascend, one by one, along the vertical guide members by means of guide jigs that are capable of moving up and down. CONSTITUTION:To a facing-material-forming member, vertical guide members are continuously provided in the perpendicular direction, and the facing-material- forming member is fixed to the lowermost part of a structure body. Then guide jigs D, structured to be capable of moving up and down along the vertical guide members, are detachably fixed to the upper and lower parts of a facing- material-forming member that is to be fixed at the next stage. The guide jigs D are then made to ascend along the vertical guide members of the existing facing-material-forming member, allowing the new facing-material-forming member to travel to a prescribed position for fixing thereto. Then the guide jigs D are made to descend along the vertical guide members of the new and the existing facing-material-forming members. By repeating the same work thereafter, a curtain wall is structured.
