<p>PURPOSE:To suppress a noise by synthesizing the noise together with the noise originating from a noise source by using phase correction due to the difference of position where a sounding means is arranged. CONSTITUTION:A heat exchanger 2 to exchange heat between refrigerant and room air is installed in the outer case 1 of an air conditioner room side unit. After the room air passes through the heat exchanger 2, it is delivered to a room again by a fan 3 through an air duct 4. The noise originating from the fan 3 and the air duct 4, etc., is detected by a sound receiving means 5, and the detected noise is delivered by the sounding means 6. The sound receiving means 5 and the sounding means 6 are arranged so that their direotivities do not overlap each other. The noise originating from the fan 3 and the air duct 4, etc., and an opposite phase sound originating from the sounding means 6 cancel each other so that the noise can be suppressed.</p> |
