Improved thermoplastic resin compsn. comprises (A) 25-75 wt.% polyamide (I), (B) 25-75 wt.% polyphenylene ether (II) and (C) 2-25 wt.% block copolymer (III) having block(s) of a vinyl aromatic compound and block(s) of a conjugated diene compound. (I) forms a continuous phase in which (II) is dispersed having an av. particle dia. ranging 0.5-10um, and further, substantially all of the block copolymer is microdispersed in the dispersed phase of the polyphenylene ether.
